This guide is based on a browser-recorded walkthrough in the rebuilt DrillerDB console. When a step can send, submit, export, or change account access, the guide calls out the review boundary.
Scheduling turns approved project and service work into a daily crew plan. Use the Scheduling workspace to choose the view that fits the question: Calendar for timing, List for dispatch review, Teams for crew capacity, Gantt for longer timeline shifts, and Map for geographic context. This guide records a read-only orientation and stops before schedule, dispatch, notification, or crew-assignment changes.
Quick Start
- Open Scheduling.
- Use Calendar to review timing and move between Month, Week, Day, and Agenda views.
- Use List to scan scheduled work for dispatch review.
- Use Teams to review crew capacity, members, vehicles, and scheduled work.
- Open Schedule only when the assignment details are ready for review.
- Use Notify only after the dispatcher has reviewed the schedule change and crew recipients.
Step-by-Step: Scheduling & Crews
Open Scheduling
Open Scheduling to review the toolbar, date controls, view switcher, driller/status filters, project search, Schedule, Notify, and Print controls.
Use Calendar for timing
Use the Calendar controls to switch Month, Week, Day, and Agenda views, then move the visible date range with Previous, Today, and Next.
Dragging calendar events can reschedule work. This guide only changes the visible mode and date range.
Use List for dispatch review
Switch to List when the office needs to scan scheduled work by crew or driller, review project cards, and compare status, location, customer, and schedule timing.
Use Teams for crew capacity
Switch to Teams to review crew groups, members, vehicles, workload, and scheduled projects before deciding whether work should be assigned or moved.
Open Schedule only after review
Use Schedule to prepare an assignment by choosing a project, crew or driller, date, optional time, and duration. The recording opens the dialog only and does not save the assignment.
Notify is externally visible to crews. Preview and send schedule notifications only after the dispatcher has reviewed the schedule change.
Dispatch boundary
This guide records the scheduling workspace as a read-only orientation. It opens views and the Schedule dialog, but it does not save a schedule, move a project, dispatch a crew, create a route stop, or notify field staff.
Use Schedule only after the project or work order, crew/driller, date, optional time, and duration have been reviewed. Use Notify only after the dispatcher confirms the recipient preview and wants crew members contacted.
