What the Equipment page shows

The Equipment list has status tabs with a count on each (All, Available, In use, In shop, and Rented, Retired or Disposed when you have units in them). The Maintenance dashboard button opens the fleet view of overdue, upcoming and completed service, with an In shop count.

Create the equipment record in Equipment List
Set category, status, and identifying details
Add maintenance schedule intervals
Assign the equipment to an employee (see Equipment Assignment)
Check the Assigned column on the Equipment list

Step-by-Step: Close Out End-of-Day Equipment Updates

Open the Service log tab on the equipment
Record repairs, inspections, and parts used
Update equipment status if availability changed
