Configure DrillerDB settings and manage users

Settings & Administration

Configure DrillerDB to match your business needs with complete settings.

Quick Start: Access Settings

  1. Click Settings in the sidebar (gear icon)
  2. Select a settings tab (General, Users, Billing, etc.)
  3. Modify settings as needed
  4. Click Save to apply changes

Only Admin users have access to all settings tabs. Office and Field users see limited options based on their role.

Admin users have access to 11 settings tabs:

User Roles

DrillerDB supports four user roles:

RoleAccess Level
AdminFull access to all features and settings
OfficeMost features, no system settings
FieldField operations, limited admin
UserBasic access only

Step-by-Step: Configure a New Company Workspace

  1. Set company profile and regional defaults in General settings
  2. Add team members and assign least-privilege roles
  3. Configure project, scheduling, and billing defaults
  4. Connect accounting/payment integrations as needed
  5. Review activity log and security settings before launch
