Mobile Access
DrillerDB gives your field crews two ways to work from the job site: native iPhone and Android apps built for offline use, and responsive web access from any mobile browser.
Native Field Apps
The DrillerDB field apps are built for drillers and crews working where cell signal is unreliable. They work offline first - complete well logs, capture photos, record GPS locations, and track time with no signal at all, and everything syncs automatically once you're back online.

The apps are free to download and included with your DrillerDB subscription.
Quick Start: Get the App
- Download DrillerDB from the App Store or Google Play
- Log in with your DrillerDB credentials
- Open your assigned jobs - they're available offline
- Work in the field, with or without signal
- Data syncs automatically when you reconnect
Working Offline
Offline support is the reason to use the native apps in the field:
- Complete well logs without a connection
- Capture photos tagged with GPS and timestamps
- Record GPS check-ins at the job site
- Track time on the job
When your device regains a connection, DrillerDB syncs everything to the cloud in the background, and your office sees the updates on the web console. Multiple crew members can work the same job from their own devices - the system merges everyone's updates.
Open a job while you still have signal so its details are cached on your device. From there you can keep working even in a dead zone.
Responsive Web Access
For quick office-style tasks from a phone or tablet, you can also use the web console at console.drillerdb.com in any mobile browser. The interface adapts to your screen with a collapsible menu and touch-friendly controls.
Web access needs a connection - for offline field work, use the native apps.
Add the web console to your home screen for app-like access. In Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. In Chrome, tap Menu, then Add to Home Screen.
Troubleshooting
App won't sync?
- Confirm the device has a connection
- Reopen the app to trigger a sync
- Check that you're logged into the correct account
Photos not uploading?
- Large photos sync once you're back on a solid connection
- Confirm the app has permission to access your photos
Can't see your jobs?
- Pull down to refresh
- Confirm the jobs are assigned to you
