DrillerDB provides powerful mobile features specifically designed for field workers who need access to project information, reporting tools, and communication capabilities while on the job site.
Project Information Access
Field workers can access complete project details from their mobile devices:
Project Details - View well specifications, customer information, drilling parameters, and project notes.
Well Diagrams - View detailed well diagrams with formation data, casing information, and completion details.
Customer Contact - Access customer contact information and communication history. Tap phone numbers to call or addresses to get directions.
Project History - Review previous work orders, service reports, and activity logs.
Field Reporting
Submit field reports from your mobile device:
Tower Up/Down Reports - Log when drilling rigs arrive and depart from job sites. Reports capture GPS location, timestamp, and equipment details.
Daily Activity Logs - Record daily activities, progress updates, and notes. Include drilling depth, formations encountered, and any issues or delays.
Photo Documentation - Capture photos and attach them to field reports. Photos are tagged with GPS coordinates and timestamps.
Equipment Usage - Log equipment usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance needs. Data syncs with inventory and equipment management systems.
GPS Check-Ins
GPS-based check-ins for job site tracking:
Location Verification - Check in at job sites with GPS location capture. Office staff can see field crew locations.
Automated Tracking - GPS check-ins trigger notifications to customers, update project status, and log time tracking data.
Offline Capability - GPS check-ins are cached locally if internet connectivity is unavailable and sync when connection is restored.
Photo Upload and Documentation
Photo documentation for field conditions:
Photo Upload - Take photos with your mobile device and upload them to the project record. Photos are compressed to save mobile data.
Photo Organization - Photos are organized by project, date, and location. Add captions and notes to each image.
Before/After Documentation - Capture before and after photos to document site conditions, well completions, or equipment installations.
Offline Functionality
Limited offline capabilities:
Offline Project Access - Recently viewed projects are cached on your device for offline access. Review project details, well diagrams, and notes without cellular service.
Note: Field reports and photos require internet connectivity for submission. Data entered while offline will need to be submitted manually once connection is restored.
Mobile Schedule Access
Mobile schedule features:
Daily Schedule - View assigned projects for the day, including job locations, customer information, and special instructions.
Turn-by-Turn Navigation - Tap any job site address to launch navigation in your mobile maps app.
Schedule Updates - Receive notifications when schedules change, new projects are assigned, or project details are updated.
