Statistics Dashboard

Understanding the Stats section widgets and KPIs

Statistics Dashboard

The Statistics Dashboard in DrillerDB provides real-time visibility into your drilling operation's performance through visual widgets and key metrics.

Accessing the Dashboard

Navigate to the Stats section from the main navigation menu. The dashboard displays automatically when you select the Stats tab on the home page.

Available Widgets

The dashboard displays several key performance widgets:

Open Jobs Counter - Shows the current number of active projects in progress. This includes all jobs that have been started but not marked as complete. Click the widget to filter the projects view to show only open jobs.

Completed Jobs Chart - Displays a visual breakdown of completed projects over time. The chart can be filtered by date range to analyze completion trends monthly, quarterly, or annually.

Proposals Pending - Tracks the number of proposals awaiting customer approval. This metric helps you identify potential revenue in your pipeline and follow up on outstanding quotes.

Revenue Metrics - Shows total revenue figures broken down by time period. You can view revenue for the current month, quarter, or year. The widget displays both invoiced amounts and collected payments.

Driller Hours - Tracks total labor hours logged by field crews. This metric helps with crew utilization analysis and labor cost calculations. Hours are pulled from daily field reports and timecards.

Well Depth Footage - Displays cumulative footage drilled across all projects. This production metric is useful for capacity planning and comparing performance across time periods.

Customizing Your View

The dashboard layout can be customized based on your role and preferences. Admin users can configure which widgets appear by default and set date ranges for trend analysis.

Widgets refresh automatically when new data is entered into the system. For real-time updates during active projects, the dashboard polls for changes every 60 seconds.

Filtering and Drill-Down

Click any metric widget to drill down into the underlying data. For example, clicking the Open Jobs counter filters your projects list to show only active jobs with full details.

Use the date range selector at the top of the dashboard to analyze metrics for specific time periods. This is particularly useful for month-end reviews and quarterly business analysis.
