DrillerDB generates automated monthly performance reports that provide complete insights into your company's activity and growth trends.

Quick Start: Enable Monthly Reports

  1. Go to Settings > Reports
  2. Toggle Enable Monthly Reports
  3. Reports generate on the 1st of each month
  4. Administrators receive email with report
  5. View history in Reports > Monthly Reports

Monthly reports are retained indefinitely, providing long-term performance tracking and year-over-year comparisons. Access historical reports anytime from the Monthly Reports History section.

Step-by-Step Workflow

Report Overview

Monthly reports are automatically generated on the first day of each month and emailed to your company administrators. The report summarizes the previous month's business activity across all key operational areas.

Each monthly report includes:

Executive Summary - High-level overview of the month's performance including total projects, revenue, and significant achievements.

Proposals and Sales - Count of proposals created and approved during the month. The report calculates your close rate and compares it to previous months to identify trends.

Project Activity - Number of projects completed, total well footage drilled, and average project duration. This section shows your production capacity and operational efficiency.

Financial Metrics - Total invoices sent with aggregate dollar amounts. Track your monthly revenue and compare against targets and historical performance.

Field Operations - Field report submission counts including tower up and tower down reports. This metric indicates crew compliance and documentation quality.

Resource Utilization - User activity statistics showing total system events, unique active users, and engagement by user type. High activity indicates strong team adoption.

Documentation Metrics - Count of images uploaded to projects. Photo documentation quality directly impacts project defensibility and customer satisfaction.

Inventory Management - Summary of inventory transactions, total quantity used, material costs, and unique items consumed. Compare usage against estimates to improve quote accuracy.

Customer Growth - Number of new customers added during the month. This growth metric shows business development success.

GPS and Field Tracking - GPS check-in counts validating crew presence at job sites. This data supports time tracking and billing verification.

Enabling Monthly Reports

Monthly reports are enabled per company in Settings. Navigate to Settings > Reports and toggle "Enable Monthly Reports" to activate automated report generation.

Once enabled, reports generate automatically without manual intervention. The system sends reports via email to all users with administrator role permissions.

Accessing Historical Reports

View previously generated reports in the Reports section under "Monthly Reports History". Click any report to view the full HTML version in your browser or download as PDF.

Historical reports are retained indefinitely, providing long-term performance tracking and year-over-year comparisons.

Customization Options

Company administrators can configure report delivery preferences including recipient email addresses and whether to include detailed breakdowns or summary-only views.

The report template uses your company branding including logo, colors, and contact information for a professional appearance when sharing with stakeholders or investors.

Troubleshooting

Not receiving monthly reports?

  • Verify monthly reports are enabled in Settings
  • Check spam/junk folder
  • Confirm administrator email is correct

Report data seems incomplete?

  • Ensure all field reports are submitted
  • Check data entry for the month
  • Allow time for report generation (runs overnight)

Can't find historical reports?

  • Go to Reports > Monthly Reports History
  • Check date range filter
  • Reports start from when feature was enabled
