List View
The List View displays scheduled projects as organized cards grouped by team or employee. This view provides the most detailed information at a glance and offers powerful drag-and-drop capabilities for reordering work.
Understanding the Layout
The List View organizes scheduled work into vertical cards, with one card per team or field technician. Each card shows the employee or team name, their last completed project for reference, and a sortable list of upcoming scheduled projects.
Cards are automatically organized with active schedules (those containing projects) displayed first, followed by employees or teams without currently scheduled work in a collapsible section. This helps focus your attention on active schedules while keeping inactive resources accessible.
Project Information
Each project item in the list displays comprehensive information in a compact format:
The project position number appears as a badge indicating its order in the schedule. The customer name and well type are displayed prominently, followed by the scheduled date and estimated hours.
If GPS coordinates are available, the system calculates and displays the distance from the previous project location. This helps optimize routing and identify projects that are geographically out of sequence.
Projects assigned to the schedule but not yet given a specific date appear at the bottom of the list with "Not Set" as the scheduled date. These projects will automatically receive dates when you reorder the schedule.
Sorting and Filtering
Projects within each card can be sorted by dragging and dropping. Click and hold the project item, then drag it up or down within the list to change its position. When you release the mouse button, the system automatically recalculates scheduled dates for all projects based on the new order.
The List View respects your configured working hours and automatically schedules projects on working days only. Weekend dates are skipped if your settings specify a Monday through Friday work week.
You can expand or collapse the "Users Without Projects" section using the toggle button. This keeps your view focused on active schedules while allowing quick access to unassigned resources when needed.
Distance Indicators
For projects with GPS coordinates, the system displays the distance in miles from the previous project. The distance badge uses color coding to indicate travel distance:
Green badges indicate nearby projects within a short distance, typically less than 10 miles. These projects are efficiently routed.
Yellow badges indicate moderate distances requiring more travel time. These projects may benefit from reordering if other nearby work is available.
Red badges indicate distant projects requiring significant travel. Consider whether the sequence can be optimized by moving these projects or grouping them with other work in the same area.
Last Activity Reference
Each card displays the team or employee's most recently completed project for context. This "Last Activity" section shows the customer name, location, and completion date. This information helps you plan the next job by considering the starting location.
Map Integration
Click the "Map" button on any card to visualize the scheduled route on an interactive map. The map displays markers for each scheduled project in sequence, with a line connecting them to show the route. This provides a geographic view of the schedule and helps identify routing inefficiencies.
Adding Projects to the Schedule
Each card includes a project selector dropdown at the bottom. Click the dropdown and type to search for unscheduled proposals or work orders. Select a project to add it to the schedule. The system automatically assigns a scheduled date based on the estimated hours and existing workload.
Real-Time Updates
The List View automatically updates when other users make scheduling changes. If you're viewing a schedule and another office user moves a project or makes an edit, you'll see the change appear in real-time without needing to refresh the page. A subtle visual indicator confirms when updates sync.
Mobile Responsiveness
On tablet and mobile devices, the List View adapts to smaller screens by stacking cards vertically and making project items full-width for easier touch interaction. Drag-and-drop functionality works with touch gestures on mobile devices.
