Real-Time Features
Most of the console shows what was true when the page loaded. A few places update without a click. This page says which ones, so you know when to refresh.
Notifications update about every 30 seconds while the browser tab is visible. The Route Planner on the map listens for live changes from your team. The Scheduling views do not update by themselves: reload them to see changes other people made.
Quick Start: Check That Updates Reach Another Person
- Sign in to DrillerDB on two computers, or in two browser windows, as two users in the same company
- On the first, do something that sends the second user a notification
- On the second, keep the tab open and visible, and watch the bell icon in the top bar
- Within about 30 seconds the unread badge should go up
- If it does not, reload the page and check that both users are in the same company
Step-by-Step Workflow
- Sign in as two users in the same company
- Make a change that sends a notification
- Watch the bell on the other screen for up to 30 seconds
- To test the map, open Maps, open the route panel on both screens, and add a stop on one
- If a screen stays stale, reload it
What Updates by Itself

Operational Notes
- You need an internet connection and a signed-in session for any of this to work.
- Live changes only reach people in the same company context. A person signed in to a different company does not see them.
- Reloading the page is always safe and always shows the current saved data.
Troubleshooting
The bell badge did not change
- Keep the tab visible. A background tab does not check until you come back to it
- Wait up to 30 seconds
- Reload the page
Updates appear only after a reload
- That is how most screens work, Scheduling included
- Check that you and the other person are signed in to the same company
