Rolodex Overview
The Rolodex is DrillerDB's central customer database, providing a complete view of all your contacts including property owners, builders, and pump installers. This tool helps you quickly find and manage customer information across your entire operation.
Quick Start: Find a Customer
- Click Rolodex in main navigation
- Type in search bar (name, phone, or address)
- Click customer row to view details
Accessing the Rolodex
- Click Rolodex from the main menu
- View your complete customer list
- Default shows 100 contacts at a time
- Scroll down to load more automatically
Search Functionality
How to Search
- Click the search bar at top of Rolodex
- Type any part of customer information
- Results appear as you type (250ms delay)
- Press Enter or click result to view
Searchable Fields

The search queries all fields at once. Typing a phone number will find matches in any phone field (primary, cell, or fax).
Sorting Options

Step-by-Step: Change Sort Order
- Locate the sort dropdown above the list
- Click to open sort options
- Select your preferred sort order
- List reorders immediately

Infinite Scrolling
The Rolodex uses infinite scrolling for large databases:

Troubleshooting
Search not finding results?
- Try partial matches (e.g., "smith" instead of "John Smith")
- Check spelling
- Try phone number without dashes
- Try different search terms
List loading slowly?
- Check internet connection
- Clear browser cache
- Try refreshing the page
Can't see a contact you just added?
- Refresh the page
- Clear any active filters
- Check you're searching in correct field
Wrong contacts appearing?
- Check type filter is set to "All"
- Clear search bar
- Verify sort order
