The Rolodex is your complete customer database for managing contacts, owners, builders, and pump installers.

Quick Start: Add and Use a Customer Record

  1. Open Rolodex
  2. Search for the customer to avoid duplicates
  3. Create the contact if no match exists
  4. Fill required contact details
  5. Link the contact to a project or work order

Contact Types

DrillerDB supports multiple contact types:

  • Owners - Property owners and primary customers
  • Builders - Construction companies and contractors
  • Pump Installers - Pump installation partners
  • PWS - Public Water Systems

Step-by-Step: Handle a New Customer Inquiry

  1. Search Rolodex by phone, email, or name
  2. Create the customer record when no match is found
  3. Set the correct contact type (Owner/Builder/Pump Installer/PWS)
  4. Add notes and communication details
  5. Open project/work-order creation and select this customer

Step-by-Step: Consolidate Duplicate Contacts

  1. Identify likely duplicates by matching phone/email
  2. Open Consolidating Duplicates
  3. Pick the primary record to keep
  4. Merge secondary records into the primary record
  5. Verify project and billing history stayed attached
