DrillPath Milestones
Every drilling project shows a drill path at the top of its page: milestone dots from Created to Paid on a larger screen, or a progress bar on a phone. A dot turns green when DrillerDB sees the work done, based on the project records.
Quick Start: Read a Project's Drill Path
- Open a project from the Projects list.
- Look at the strip under the project title. Green dots are done.
- Read the percentage on the left and the Next button on the right. Next names the first step that is not done yet.
- Click Next, or any dot, to open the related project tab. On a phone, expand the strip to see the milestone list.
Turn off the milestones your company does not track in Settings > Drill Path. The strip, the percentage and the Next button then count only the milestones you keep. See Drill Path Settings.
The Twelve Milestones

| Proposal | Project Created | Always green |
| Proposal | Proposal Sent | The proposal is approved, or the project is an Open Job or later |
| Proposal | Approval Received | The customer approves the proposal online, the office approves it, or the project is an Open Job or later |
| Proposal | Permits Obtained | A permit field on the project has a value, or the permit is marked done in the Compliance workspace |
| Open Job | Site Recon Submitted | A site recon is saved, from the console, the website or the mobile apps |
| Open Job | Crew Dispatched | The crew is dispatched to the job |
| Open Job | Tower Up | A Tower Up or Tower Down event is recorded |
| Open Job | Tower Down | A Tower Down event is recorded and no trip is still open |
| Open Job | Well Log Submitted | The well log is saved on the project |
| Open Job | Pump Installed | Not tracked automatically; office users can mark it N/A for this job |
| Completed | Invoiced | The project has an invoice that is not void, or has Invoiced status with no invoice rows |
| Completed | Paid | An invoice is paid and no invoice on the project still has a balance |
An Invoiced project is treated as completed. Turning off the Invoices module also removes Invoice and Paid from the strip.
A project that is Complete or Closed also shows Site Recon, Crew Dispatched, Tower Up and Tower Down as green.
The milestones do not wait for each other. A site recon saved before the proposal goes out turns Site Recon green at once, even though the dot sits later on the strip.
