DrillPath provides visual milestone tracking for your drilling projects from proposal to payment.
Quick Start: View Project Milestones
- Open any project from Projects list
- View the milestone timeline at top of project
- Completed milestones appear filled/checked
- Current milestone is highlighted
- Click milestones to see details and timestamps
Milestones update automatically when you complete actions like sending proposals, submitting tower up reports, or creating invoices. No manual status updates required.

Step-by-Step: Diagnose a Stalled Project
- Open project and review current highlighted milestone
- Check prior milestone completion timestamps
- Identify missing prerequisite action (proposal, field report, invoice)
- Complete the blocking action in the relevant module
- Reopen DrillPath and confirm milestone progression
Troubleshooting
Milestone not updating automatically?
- Verify the triggering action completed successfully
- Check that you have permission to update the project
- Some milestones require manual completion
Timeline not displaying?
- Refresh the project page
- Ensure project has been saved
- Check browser console for errors
Can't complete a milestone?
- Check if previous milestones are completed (dependencies)
- Verify you have the required role permissions
- Some milestones are auto-only and cannot be manually completed
