What is DepthMap?
DepthMap provides access to over 14 million water well records across the United States. The interactive map displays well locations with detailed construction information, depth data, geological formations, and original well logs where available.

Data Coverage
Well data is sourced from public records maintained by state agencies across the country. Coverage and data quality vary by state and region. Some states have comprehensive digital records dating back decades, while others have limited historical data.
The database is continuously updated as new well reports are filed and additional state data becomes available.
