  4. Log in at app.drillerdb.com

DepthMap includes the same well data and tools as DrillerDB's built-in map. Choose DepthMap if you only need well data access without project management features.

What is DepthMap?

DepthMap provides access to over 14 million water well records across the United States. The interactive map displays well locations with detailed construction information, depth data, geological formations, and original well logs where available.

Data Coverage

Well data is sourced from public records maintained by state agencies across the country. Coverage and data quality vary by state and region. Some states have complete digital records dating back decades, while others have limited historical data.

The database is continuously updated as new well reports are filed and additional state data becomes available.

Troubleshooting

Can't access DepthMap?

  • Verify your subscription is active in account settings
  • Clear browser cache and try again
  • Try a different browser if issues persist

Wells not loading?

  • Check your internet connection
  • Zoom in to load wells at a visible scale
  • Enable the Well Logs layer in bottom toolbar

Geology estimates not appearing?

  • Ensure there are nearby wells with data
  • Try a different location with more well coverage
  • Check that you're zoomed in enough
