DrillerDB MCP Server

Connect DrillerDB to Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, and other AI assistants using the Model Context Protocol.

DrillerDB MCP Server

The DrillerDB MCP server lets an AI assistant work with your DrillerDB account directly. Ask about jobs, customers, invoices, and well logs in plain English, and take approval-gated actions like scheduling a job or sending an invoice.

It is a hosted remote server. There is nothing to install or run yourself.

Server URL

https://mcp.drillerdb.com

Add that as a custom connector in your MCP client. The client discovers the sign-in flow automatically from the server's OAuth metadata, so no API key is involved.

Registry name

com.drillerdb/drillerdb

Clients that read the official MCP Registry can find and install DrillerDB by this name instead of a pasted URL.

Requirements

An active DrillerDB account. Access is scoped to your own company, and you can revoke it at any time from your account.

What it can do

The server exposes 45 tools: 37 read tools and 8 write tools.

Read covers drilling projects, customers, contacts, invoices, proposals, quotes, work orders, crews, schedules, field reports, project files, communications, equipment, inventory, timecards, compliance forms, geology, and well logs.

Write covers attaching notes, submitting field reports, planning crew routes, updating job status, scheduling and dispatching jobs, importing vendor bills, and sending an invoice.

Actions that contact a customer, move a crew, or affect billing are approval-gated: the assistant pauses and waits for your confirmation before anything happens.

Security

  • Every request is scoped to your company by an ID bound to your sign-in, never taken from the assistant's input
  • Every tool call is audit-logged with who, what, when, and the outcome
  • Revoking the connector immediately invalidates its access
